Title: Inside the Bankers Mind

Background:

Launch of the FSClub CEE ?s  Leadership and Innovation Series:

Subject            :           "Inside the Bankers Mind "

Background
Leadership and innovation have never been needed as much as during an economic downturn. Working under public, regulator, and client scrutiny, people in the financial services industry have been facing a different, highly volatile and critical environment challenging previous notions of leadership and necessitating different approaches to innovation. Taking a look at how bankers have approached problems, how they innovate, and predicting how they will change their approaches in the future is our next topic.

A program for senior bankers and others in the financial services industry approached from the behavioural finance perspective as well as from a technological perspective, we have a distinguished panel of speakers including the leading expert on behavioural finance- a psychologist , researcher and, author whose ground breaking work at Harvard and MIT  on the psychological aspects of decision making in financial and economic settings has led him into the trading floors of many of the world?s leading banks in Europe and in the USA and most recently conducted research as a Fulbright professor and visiting scholar at MIT?s Sloane School of Management and at Harvard.

Our esteemed panel of speakers include:

Professor Dr. Thomas Oberlechner
, author of The Psychology of the Foreign Exchange Market
(Wiley) and award-winning ?The Psychology of Ethics in the Finance and Investment Industry?
(CFA Institute) graduate of Harvard University as well as multiple degrees in Law and in Psychology

Simon Rodway, International Head of Pre-Sales (International) and a Senior Solution Consultant at S1 with a focus on the international markets, has worked with several of the world?s largest banks.    S1 has conducted a number of studies analyzing the demographic, geographic and client trends.

The evening will be moderated by Lydia Goutas and Thomas Labenbacher, Co-Chairs of the Financial Service Club CEE
